"WHO AM I?"
Hi, I am Bill O'Neal, a veteran of the US Army, age 56, as of October 18, 2009. I am the proud father of one child and one grandchild. I sang my first song on stage at church at approximately 5 years old. If I remember properly it was, "Reach Out And Touch The Lord." That is what has made the difference in my life. I gave my heart to the Lord some 42 years ago and he is always faithful. I was married to a wonderful wife of 28 years. Her name was Barbara and she went on to meet the Lord on September 2, 2001. That was 9 days before the infamous 9-11 day when America was attacked.
As for ministry I served in Germany as an Interim Pastor for the Church of God, Cleveland, TN. When I came back to WV I became and Associate Pastor of the True Gospel Church in Oceana, WV. I was a deacon at one time and also a youth leader, as well as did some janitoring when needed. I sang and traveled with a group called "The Scrap Iron Trio" and sang solo with soundtracks as well. I also sang some with my sister who is multi-talented. While a youth leader I also taught the teen class in Sunday School. I have done some evangelism however I seem to do best with one on one ministry.
I was trained as an administrative clerk while in the US Army. I took a journalism course from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. While living in Boone County I trained on IBM WordPerfect. Later on in life I trained with the USPS as a Data Conversion Operator. I was an Associate Publisher of two small newspapers for four years. My work experience includes being an associate for Southland Pest Control of Pineville, WV. I eventually became a Floor Supervisor for Office Max in Charleston, WV. I left them to pursue a full time career with the United States Postal Service. I am now employed with the USPS in Williamson, WV as a Laborer/Custodian. My prayer is that the readers on this website be encouraged and enjoy life found in Christ!
